Adele Forbes, Managing Director

With over 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Adele brings unparalleled knowledge and insight to every client she supports. Her career has spanned multiple high-level positions — including Senior Mandated Mortgage Underwriter, authorised to lend up to £1 million across five major UK mortgage lenders. This extensive background means Adele knows exactly what lenders look for and how to present cases effectively to achieve a swift mortgage offer.

Adele’s expertise has been recognised across the financial sector. She was headhunted to help launch a new mortgage lender and has held pivotal roles in Business Development and Arrears Counselling. With over 13 years as a qualified mortgage adviser, Adele continues to advise clients while proudly leading her award-winning mortgage brokerage, established in 2019.
As a respected voice in the industry, Adele frequently contributes to national mortgage discussions, debates, and publications, including Mortgage Strategy and Mortgage Introducer. She was also a VIP speaker at the Financial Times Adviser Forum 2023, discussing The Future of Buy-to-Let Mortgages.

Beyond her professional life, Adele is passionate about charity work. She actively supports The Prince of Wales Hospice, completing a skydive in 2022, raising £2,520, and an abseil down Wakefield Cathedral in 2023, raising £1,039. Adele is married to her husband Bruce and is a proud mum to their son, Fraser.

Gina Buckle - Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Gina is one of the friendly and knowledgeable faces behind West Yorkshire Money, dedicated to ensuring every client enjoys a smooth and stress-free mortgage experience.
With over 10 years of banking experience, Gina joined West Yorkshire Money in 2021 as an Administrator. Her hard work and passion for helping clients quickly saw her promoted to Trainee Adviser and Paraplanner, before proudly achieving her full CeMAP qualification in January 2025.

Armed with a master’s degree in Town Planning, Gina’s exceptional organisational skills keep our busy team running efficiently while ensuring clients remain fully informed at every stage of their home-buying journey.

Gina’s dedication shines through both professionally and personally — she completed her CeMAP qualification while balancing life as a new mum to her daughter, Daisy. She particularly enjoys tackling complex mortgage cases, always approaching each challenge with enthusiasm, precision, and care.

Kayla - Mortgage Administrator

Kayla is one of the friendly faces behind West Yorkshire Money, bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for excellent customer service to the team. New to the mortgage industry, Kayla previously thrived in fast-paced hospitality environments, where she honed her attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Since joining West Yorkshire Money, she has helped enhance the client journey, ensuring every interaction is smooth, welcoming, and professional. Often the first point of contact for clients, Kayla plays a crucial role in setting the tone for the exceptional service that defines the team. She is ambitious and aspires to become a Mortgage Adviser through dedication and hard work. Outside of work, Kayla is a car enthusiast, often spending her free time modifying her beloved blue Mini.

Martin Fawcett – Compliance Consultant

Martin is an enthusiastic and highly motivated Compliance and Training professional with a strong foundation in sales training. In his consultancy role, he provides expert advice on all aspects of compliance and training within the firm.

With over 40 years of experience across all sectors of the financial services industry, Martin brings a comprehensive understanding of FCA regulations and Training & Competence (T&C) requirements.
He is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with staff, management, and advisers to identify their needs, provide clear and practical guidance, and deliver effective results.
